The business meeting will take place promptly at 5:30 and will include a brief business meeting and election of board members and officers.\n \nThose practicing in the continuum of estate planning have likely experienced the disconnect, and sometimes, disfunction between the planning phase and administration of those plans post death. \n \nHarlan Dodson attended college at Duke University and then came home to Nashville to study law at Vanderbilt. He has more than 50 years of experience helping people and businesses solve problems and plan for their future. Since 1988, he and his wife, Margaret Behm, have been partners in the law firm they started, Dodson, Parker, Behm & Capparella, P,C.\n \nDodson is a frequent speaker and writer on business organizations, and especially limited liability companies, and real estate transactions, as well as on wills and estate planning. He taught Estate Planning at the Nashville School of Law for many years, and received its Distinguished Faculty Award, as well as serving as an Adjunct Professor at Vanderbilt School of Law.\n \nHe is the author of Introduction to Estate Planning and Administration in Tennessee, an indispensable guide for attorneys and planners throughout the state. Each year, Dodson revises the text to reflect developments in the law, including changes in the areas of the tax laws affecting business and estate planning.\n \nEPC of Middle TN meetings are open only to members and invited guests.
